Educational Qualification for JKSSB Warder Post

Minimum Matriculation ( 10th ) and Maximum 10 +2 from a recognised Board of School Education/Institution. Candidates must clear the Physical Standard Test and Physical Endurance Test as detailed below. Candidates declared qualified/shortlisted for Document Verification must produce relevant original certificates as proof of the prescribed educational qualification, strictly on or before the cut-off date, failing which their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates claiming an equivalent educational qualification must produce a relevant Equivalence Certificate or obtain equivalence from the competent authority as and when required.

Domicile Requirement

JKSSB Exam Pattern and Selection Process 2026

Selection for the post of Warder comprises a Written Examination followed by a Physical Standard Test, Physical Endurance Test, and Document Verification. The examination will consist of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions , set in the English language only . There will be negative marking for each wrong answer to the extent of one-fourth (1/4) of the marks assigned to that question. Candidates are shortlisted for the Physical Standard Test on the basis of the written test, at six times the total number of vacancies to be filled in each category. The prescribed physical standards are: Candidates who meet the physical standards must undergo the Physical Endurance Test, which is qualifying in nature and carries no marks. Reservation Policy in JKSSB Warder Recruitment 2026

Reservation for the advertised posts is applicable as per the category-wise break-up conveyed by the Indenting Department and the Jammu & Kashmir Reservation Act/Rules, as amended from time to time.
