Konkan Railway Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026-27: 134 Vacancies for Graduate and Diploma Engineers

Document Verification is scheduled post-wise as follows. Registration on the day of Document Verification is only between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM. A total of 134 Apprentice Trainee slots are available across nine post categories under Medical Category B1 (engineering posts) and C1 (General Stream Graduates).

Candidates must have passed out during 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 (within the last 5 years from the date of passing the qualifying exam and date of joining training). Qualification requirements by category: Category I – Graduate Apprentices (Engineering): BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering; or Electrical/Electronics & Power Engineering (or a combination of basic Electrical sub-streams) for Electrical Engineering; or Electrical/Electronics/Information Technology/Communication Engineering/Computer Science & Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering (or a combination of these basic streams) for Electronics Engineering; or Mechanical/Industrial/Automobile/Production Engineering for Mechanical Engineering - from an AICTE-recognized university. Stipend is paid through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism, combining the Government of India's DBT share and KRCL's establishment share. Candidates must have a bank account in their own name and a PAN card to receive the stipend, and must retain the same Aadhaar-linked bank account until training completion. Candidates must also make their own lodging and boarding arrangements during training.

Candidates should enter their name, father's name, and date of birth exactly as recorded in their Matriculation/SSC/High School certificate. Candidates must maintain an active personal email ID for the entire duration of enrolment, as KRCL will send all communications only through email; requests to change the registered mobile number or email will not be entertained.
