Candidates wondering about eligibility can note that each post carries specific educational and experience requirements. All qualifications must be from a recognized Board or University, and experience must be post-qualification. 1. The fee must be submitted as a non-refundable Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Director, NIEPID, Secunderabad". Candidates must write their name and the post applied for on the back of the DD. Applications without the required DD will not be considered. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms and separate DDs for each post.

NIEPID follows a structured selection process depending on post level and category. For Regular Group 'A' Posts (e.g., Lecturer in Rehabilitation Psychology): Screening of applications by a duly constituted Screening Committee Shortlisting (minimum 1:5 ratio per vacancy) Written Examination (if more than 20 applications received) Personal Interview For Regular Group 'B' & 'C' Posts (Stenographer, LDC/Typist, Physiotherapy Assistant): Screening of applications Merit-based selection as per criteria approved by the Ministry (interviews dispensed as per DoPT guidelines) For Contractual Posts: Screening of applications Written examination (if more than 20 applications received for a post) Personal Interview before appropriate committee For CDEIC Contractual Posts: Selection on contractual basis for 12 months, extendable based on satisfactory performance

Candidates selected for regular posts will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) introduced by the Government of India w.e.f. 01.01.2004. Fixed consolidated monthly remuneration is paid as per the contract. No additional allowances are admissible for contractual positions.

NIEPID also empanelled guest faculty/staff on a session-wise honorarium basis through walk-in interviews held across multiple centres from 23 June to 06 July 2026.
