PDKV Recruitment 2026 - Walk in for Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper Posts

The recruitment drive is for two posts, Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper, with one vacancy each.

Candidates applying for the Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper posts must fulfil the educational qualification and age limit criteria mentioned below. The maximum age limit for candidates applying for these posts is 38 years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules for SC, ST, DT, NT, and OBC categories.

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly pay as per the post applied for.

The selection process for these posts is through a walk-in interview only. No separate written examination is mentioned in the notification. Candidates will be shortlisted based on scrutiny of their applications. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the walk-in interview. The interview for both Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Helper posts will be conducted on 4th August 2026 at 11:00 AM in the chamber of the Head, Department of Plant Pathology, Dr. PDKV, Akola. If the number of candidates is large, the interview process may continue on the next day.

Candidates must carry their original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies for verification at the time of the interview. The required documents include: Proof of Date of Birth Educational Qualification certificates (SSC and above) Reprints of published research papers, if any Experience certificate, if any No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer, if already employed

These posts are purely temporary and contractual, and the term of engagement is linked to the project period, subject to satisfactory performance. The appointment does not entitle the appointee to any implicit or explicit claim on any regular University post. No accommodation will be provided to selected candidates. Candidates without essential qualification certificates on the date of interview will not be eligible to attend. Selected candidates must join the assignment physically within seven days from the date of issue of the appointment order, failing which the order will be treated as cancelled.
