The recruitment covers five wholly Government-of-Rajasthan-owned Power Companies, formed on 19 July 2000, engaged in Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity across the state. The Ministerial Staff Service Regulations, 2017 govern Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II; the Engineers Service Regulations, 2016 govern Junior Engineer-I. The Scheduled Areas Engineers, Ministerial & Class-IV Service (Recruitment & other Service Conditions) Regulations, 2017 also apply where relevant.

A total of 2,005 vacancies are notified (Non-TSP and TSP areas combined). The number of vacancies may increase or decrease at the discretion of the concerned Nigam, and no separate notification will be issued for such changes.

Computer qualification (for Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II): Any one of - "O" or Higher Level Certificate Course by DOEACC; NIELIT Certificate course on Computer Concepts; COPA/DPCS certificate under the National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme; a Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Computer Science/Computer Application; Senior Secondary Certificate with Computer Science/Application as a subject; a computer-related subject in one semester/year of a Bachelor's Degree or higher qualification/CA(ITT)/ICWA/CS/MBA; Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized polytechnic; or the Rajasthan State Certificate Course in Information Technology (RSCIT). Fee is payable online only, via Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/Master Card/Maestro), Credit Card, Internet Banking, IMPS, or Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets, between 05-08-2026 and 25-08-2026. Bank transaction charges are borne by the candidate. The fee is non-refundable under any circumstances and cannot be carried forward to any other recruitment. Creamy-layer BC/MBC candidates, and SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates from states other than Rajasthan, are treated as UR (General) and must pay Rs.1,000/-.

Selected candidates are initially engaged as "Probationer Trainee" for 2 years, drawing a fixed monthly remuneration during this period. On successful completion of probation, pay is fixed at the minimum of the applicable Level in the Pay Matrix as Basic Pay, plus allowances and other benefits as per relevant rules.

Selection is through a single Computer-Based common written competitive exam (Online mode), of 2 hours' duration, consisting only of Objective Type (MCQ) questions, with negative marking for wrong answers and no interview. Part A (60% weightage): For Junior Engineer-I, this is at Degree-in-Engineering level in the candidate's discipline. For Junior Accountant, this covers Corporate Accounting, Income Tax, Cost Accounting, Theory & Practice of Auditing, and Management Accounting/Advanced Cost Accounting/Cost & Management Audit/Computer Application in Accounting/Taxation Law & Practice/Advanced Financial Accounting, at Graduation Degree level. Part B (40% weightage): Reasoning & Mental Ability; Mathematics (Class-XII level for JE-I, Class-X level for Junior Accountant); General Knowledge & Everyday Science (with special reference to Rajasthan); Hindi General (Class-X level); English Genera

The written examination is conducted only in Online mode. Candidates must give preference for 6 out of 12 proposed centres; allotment is based on administrative convenience and seat availability, and the choice once exercised is final (no request for change of centre/date/session is entertained).

Successful candidates, limited to about 2 times the vacancies in each category for each post/discipline, will be called for Documents Verification in order of merit. Candidates must bring original documents along with two self-attested photocopies, including (among others): the system-generated application printout, E-Receipt of fee, Degree/Provisional Degree or Institute Certificate, all mark-sheets, Senior Secondary/Secondary certificates (for date of birth), category certificates (SC/ST/EWS/BC/MBC, as applicable, issued by a Rajasthan competent authority only), PWBD medical certificate (if applicable), marriage/divorce/widowhood documents (if applicable), an affidavit regarding number of children, a Bonafide Resident Certificate, a character certificate, an affidavit regarding pending/past criminal cases, and an Employment Certificate or NOC if already employed in government service.

Candidates must ensure their eligibility under all criteria before applying; permission to appear at any stage is purely provisional, subject to detailed verification of documents later.
