SAIL IISCO Trade Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out- Apply Online for 200 Posts

A total of 200 Trade Apprentice posts are available across nine ITI trades at SAIL-ISP, Burnpur: In addition to these 200 seats, SAIL-ISP will maintain a separate waiting list equal to 10% of the total seats, in order of merit. Waiting-list candidates will be called only if there is a shortfall in joining.

Candidates whose "contract ID" has already been created under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, during apprenticeship training in any other organisation, are not eligible to apply for this recruitment. Reservation of seats for each trade will follow state government guidelines for educational institutions, as below: Candidates applying under any of the above reserved categories must possess a valid, updated certificate complying with existing guidelines. PWD candidates should be in a position to perform routine, basic functioning independently.

Selected Trade Apprentices will receive a lumpsum stipend of Rs 9,600 to Rs 10,560 per month. Apprentices are expected to arrange their own accommodation and other related arrangements. Medical facilities will be provided by the company as per the provisions of the Workmen Compensation Act, as mentioned in the Apprenticeship Act.

Candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks obtained during their ITI, within their specified category and trade. In case of a tie in aggregate marks between applicants, the older candidate will be preferred.

The apprenticeship training will run for one year from the date of contract creation, and the contract will terminate automatically on completion of the training period. This apprenticeship does not create any right to claim regular employment at SAIL-ISP. Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit a notarized undertaking confirming they will not demand employment based on the training or its completion. Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of certificates and testimonials. If a candidate is found, at any stage, to not fulfil the eligibility norms, or to have furnished incorrect/false information or documents, or to have suppressed any document or fact, the candidature will stand cancelled.
