Telangana Anganwadi Teacher Recruitment 2026 - Apply Online for 64 Posts

Candidates should note that only applications submitted online through the official WCD&SC portal will be accepted; applications sent by post, email, or submitted directly at DWO/CDPO/Anganwadi offices will not be considered for selection.

A total of 64 Anganwadi Teacher posts are vacant across the four ICDS Projects of Jagtial district. The project-wise break-up is as follows: Each of the 64 posts is tied to a specific Anganwadi Center (AWC) and carries its own local reservation category (OC, BC-A/B/C/D/E, SC, ST, EWS, or VH-earmarked), based on the Mandal, Gram Panchayat/Ward and AWC where the vacancy exists. Three posts - at Venkatapur (Dharmapuri project), Medipally (Jagtial project) and Peddapur (Metpalli project) - are specifically earmarked for candidates with visual handicap (VH) under the disability reservation. Candidates must have completed their Intermediate (12th class) or an equivalent qualification. This is a mandatory requirement for all applicants. Selection is made purely on a merit-cum-points basis, out of a maximum of 100 marks, as follows: Required documents for verification include the SSC/date-of-birth and Intermediate qualification certificates, a residence certificate issued by the Tahsildar within the last one year, the Intermediate/higher qualification marks memo, and, where applicable, caste certificate and special-category certificates (disability, widow, or orphan certificate under the JJ Act, 2015).
