The UPSSSC Computer Operator last date to submit the online application and pay the fee is 28 September 2026 . Candidates whose fee payment is not reconciled by the bank by this date must ensure reconciliation within a further 7 days, that is, by 05 October 2026 ; applicants can also revise permissible details in their application during this extended window.

A total of 12 vacancies have been notified for Computer Operator Grade-A and Assistant Computer Operator posts under the Advocate General's Office, Allahabad High Court. Both posts are currently temporary in nature. The Commission has noted that the total and category-wise number of notified vacancies may increase or decrease based on updated vertical and horizontal reservation policies of the Uttar Pradesh Government.

Only candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test-2025 (PET-2025) and have been issued a PET-2025 score card by the Commission are eligible to apply for this Main Examination. Shortlisting for the Main Examination is done on merit based on the normalized PET-2025 score; candidates with a zero or negative absolute or normalized PET-2025 score will not be shortlisted. Candidates whose PET-2025 result is marked "Under Investigation" or "Provisional" are allowed to apply provisionally, subject to the Commission's final decision on their case.

A Bachelor's degree from a university established by law in India, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the government, along with a Diploma in Computer Science or a Computer Science "O" Level certificate from NIELIT (or an equivalent institution recognized by the government). Three years of experience in the field of computer applications is required. The same mandatory qualification applies - a Bachelor's degree or its recognized equivalent, along with a Diploma in Computer Science or NIELIT "O" Level certificate - but with two years of experience in the field of computer applications. Other things being equal, preference in direct recruitment will be given to a candidate who has served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years, or who holds a National Cadet Corps (NCC) "B" certificate.

At the application stage, only the online processing fee is charged, as shown above. Candidates belonging to the Dependent of Freedom Fighter, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Persons with Disabilities, and Outstanding Sportsperson categories pay the fee applicable to their original (vertical) category listed in the table. Fee can be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan. Separately, a written examination fee will apply only to candidates shortlisted for the Main Examination, payable before downloading the Main Examination admit card. Selection is based on a written (Main) examination , conducted under the Uttar Pradesh Advocate General and Law Officer Establishment Service Rules, 2009 (as amended), following the two-tier examination system adopted by the Commission (in which only candidates who appeared in the Commission's Preliminary Eligibility Test can apply for the Main Examination). Shortlisting for the written Main Examination is done on the basis of each candidate's normalized PET-2025 score. Category-wise, 15 times the number of advertised vacancies will be shortlisted for the written examination - including all candidates who hold a normalized score (to two decimal places) equal to the final category-wise cut-off score.
