Educational and Other Qualifications: There is no separate formal educational qualification prescribed. Candidates must know how to speak Kannada. Candidates must be working as Underground Drainage Assistant through outsourcing (excluding net wells/STP) and must have been working as such on or before 24-07-2026. Age Limit: Candidates must not exceed 55 years of age as of 24-07-2026.

The post involves carrying out underground drainage assistance work on a contract basis within the limits of Mangaluru City Corporation.

Chalan obtained from the Corporation Accounts Branch showing remittance to the Corporation bank account (Canara Bank). Copies of SSLC / PUC or birth certificate / transfer certificate / voter ID / PAN card / driving licence or school transfer certificate showing date of birth. Labour Department Identity Card and Provident Fund (PF) documents in proof of service as Underground Drainage Assistant. Discharge certificate from military service for ex-servicemen candidates (if claiming reservation). Caste certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Category-1, Category-2A, Category-2B, Category-3A, and Category-3B candidates (if claiming reservation).
