Applications should be sent by post to reach The Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P.O., Kottayam – 686560 within 15 days from the date of the notification (12 October 2026), making the last date 27 October 2026. Candidates must submit applications on white paper along with self-attested copies of relevant documents to prove qualifications, age, and experience, together with a valid Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate. The application must also include two mobile numbers and an e-mail address. The envelope must be superscribed as “Application for the post of Co-Ordinator on Contract in the School of Food Science and Technology.”

The candidate should be an eminent scholar with a Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition or a relevant discipline. Actively engaged in research with a minimum of 10 publications in national or international journals with a high impact factor. Contribution to educational innovations, designing new curriculum and courses, and experience in technology-mediated teaching-learning processes. A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in a University or college and/or experience in research at University or National level institutions or industries, including experience in guiding students for research at the doctoral level. Below 70 years as on 01.01.2026.

The selection of candidates for the Co-Ordinator post will be conducted through an interview.

Candidates must belong to the E/B/T category to be eligible to apply. Applications must include a valid Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate. Selected candidates shall enter into a contract for one year with the University.
